How to install COMODO EV Enhancer ™ Version 2

IMPORTANT: The following instructions apply only to customers with Sectigo EV SSL and EV SGC SSL certificates.

What is EV Enhancer ™?

How does it work?

EV Enhancer ™ Version 2 uses a simple HTML comment to download a small, invisible image. This download causes the automatic Windows ™ root update to import the Sectigo EV root certificate onto the client system so that the client can recognize the EV status of the SSL certificate.

Once a particular EV root certificate is installed on a client system, that client will see the green bar when connecting to a website that uses a valid EV SSL certificate chained to the same EV root certificate.

Why is it necessary?
