How Can We Help?

Which browser can I use to register for an email certificate?

You are here:

The private key for an S/MIME certificate is generated by the browser during certificate registration. When the submit button is pressed, a key pair of the selected size is generated. The private key is encrypted and stored in the local key database. / MIME certificates can only be used with Internet Explorer on Windows and Safari on Mac for certificate registration because they are both easy to use and convenient for the user.

Note: Firefox version 68 and earlier can be used for this purpose. Firefox has discontinued Keygen support from version 69 [released on September 3, 2019]
